It’s no secret that the Yeti is pretty elusive. However, we’ve been hearing reports of more Yeti sightings than ever. Send us a pic when you spot one in the wild! Can you find Yeti below? Join the #YetiMafia today!
Thanks to Zymurgy Magazine for our recent accolades! They named us the 16th best brewery in their Brewery Rankings (tied with Rogue Ales) and 11th Best Portfolio (tied with Goose Island Beer Co.). Yeti was also named #43 in their Top Ranked Beers list. Cheers to great beer!

Thanks to all who joined us for our 18th Anniversary Party on Saturday. We had a great time and we hope you did, too! 1500 of our closest friends celebrated with us. Special beers, delicious food carts and live music made it a fun day for all.
Here’s a nice write-up of the event, our new beer baby Wolfgang and our plans to expand from our pal Sean Buchan, aka Beertographer.

Hope you’ll join us next year as we celebrate 19!
Here at Great Divide we see beer and food as a match made in heaven. Our handcrafted ales and lagers are excellent for pairing and using as an ingredient. Here are two great uses of our beer:
First, this tasty summer primer featuring craft beer ice cream from CraftBeer.com. Sweet Action is one of our favorite haunts here in the Mile High City and their Yeti ice cream is so delicious, we wish it was available all year long! You can check out the whole feature here: http://www.craftbeer.com/pages/beer-and-food/features/show?title=i-scream-you-scream-its-craft-beer-ice-cream

Also, don’t forget to check out this Colette ricotta recipe from The Beeroness (who, by the way, is a great resource for craft beer cooking!). This recipe is equal parts simple and delicious. Plus, look at that photography! Our mouths are watering just thinking about it: http://thebeeroness.com/2012/06/05/homemade-beer-ricotta/

Give these tasty, beery options a try and ring in summer the right way.
Our new baby is here! Wolfgang, our new Doppelbock, is finally here. Here’s the low-down from the label:
Originally called “liquid bread,” the Doppelbock style guided monks through periods of penitent fasting. Wolfgang has heavenly notes of caramel, dark fruit, and toffee balanced by a subtle hop character. While its revered history evokes an appreciation of austerity and sacrifice, this Doppelbock is a rich luxury—no repentance required.
It clocks in at 8% ABV and is a smooth, sexy way to start the summer. Fans of this traditional style and newbies alike will appreciate the nuance of this tasty brew.
Give Wolfgang a try and let us know–Facebook it, tweet it, check into it on Untappd, add it to your wishlist on Pintley or send a carrier pigeon our way!
Join us Saturday, June 16th for our 18th Anniversary Party! We’re honored to be part of Colorado’s brewing scene and we want to celebrate with you. Come help us throw down as we raise the roof, close off the street and, of course, pour some delicious beer. The party runs from 2-6pm and costs only $25. Your ticket buys you a food ticket, live music and access to Great Divide classic favorites and special one-offs. We’d love to see you there! Buy your ticket here!
LA-based folk group The Coals recently posted a killer video for their song “Evangeline.” Can you spot Colette sitting on the piano? She’s such a saucy minx. Check the video here.

Thanks to Amanda Willshire for this awesome bottlecap artwork! She handcrafted these pieces for our Tap Room and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Next time you’re in the TR, come say hi to the whole gang.
