This excursion has become a popular summer event. It features a full day of western excitement with an historic train ride, barbecue lunch feast, and the world famous “Daddy of ‘em all” Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. Tickets also include a continental breakfast, admission to the Old West Museum in Frontier Park, beverages, and a light dinner on the return trip.
For more than sixty years, this annual trip was a highlight for Denver and Colorado politicians and businessmen. They were entertained and thrilled by the trip, the rodeo, and the hospitality they received during the ride and in Cheyenne. In 1992, The DenverPost revived this wonderful event to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Denver Post. It was so much fun, the trip has become a western institution once again.
Join over 2,000 fearless riders from all walks of life along with more than 300 extraordinary volunteers in supporting Children’s Colorado patients and their families in 2015. The three-day bike tour through Colorado’s high country accomplishes more than conquering challenging mountain passes; it benefits kids in your community!
Be a part of the Courage Classic and get ready for an adventure. Whether you’re new to the Courage Classic or ride every year, together we’ll raise money, have fun alongside vivacious, dedicated people, and provide healthy futures for kids.
There will be Great Divide beer at the Sunday barbecue portion of the event!
