Where do you distribute?
Colorado is our home and most of our beer stays local, but we also have limited distribution across the US and even in Sweden! Check our BeerFinder app to find the states that we currently distribute to and to locate Great Divide beer near you.
Can I order kegs or larger orders of beer?
You certainly can. We always carry a pretty good stock of our year-round brands as well as seasonals so long as we’re not on the tail end of a season. You can pre-order kegs and cases (minimum 1-day advance notice, the cutoff time for weekend orders is Friday at 12 pm) by emailing Maureen.Cherrett@greatdivide.com or giving us a quick call at 303-296-9460 ext. 4824. All kegs can be picked up from the Barrel Bar at our new location in RiNo between the hours of 12 pm and 7 pm daily. You can also rent hand pumps and purchase plastic cups.
We ask that all reserved kegs be picked up within two days of your reservation. There is a chance that after that two day window, your reserved keg will no longer be available when you come in. Don’t think you are going to make your reserved pick up time? No worries! Just let us know and we will be happy to reschedule for you. Walk-ins are welcome but we are unable to ensure that your desired beer will be kegged and readily on hand. Please return all kegs within 30 days of pick up. Can I buy beer to-go at your Tap Rooms?
You can indeed! We offer our full line-up of packaged beer for sale at both our Tap Room and Barrel Bar. You can also pre-order kegs for pick up (Barrel Bar only) by emailing Maureen.Cherrett@greatdivide.com. Both locations offer growler fills, and our Barrel Bar offers 32 oz Crowlers (like growlers, but cans. Get it?) for a more portable to-go option. See pricing info here .
Do you have gluten-free/Kosher/other restricted diet beer?
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we do not. We stick the beers that we brew best, and we try to keep it as simple as that!
My beer was packaged on (insert date), is it still good?
I want to carry Great Divide in my bar/restaurant/liquor store, who should I contact?

I have a concern about the quality of my beer, who should I contact?

My favorite beer is ___ but I haven’t seen it in years, is it discontinued? Will you bring it back?
We are constantly changing our portfolio, and while we wish we could make all of our favorite beers, we still have a relatively small operation and cannot keep every beer in our line-up from year to year. Sometimes we retire beers and bring them back, sometimes beers go into the vault forever, and many times we bring back cult favorites for small pilot batches that are only released in kegs and not bottles. It’s also possible that your favorite beer is just a limited release or a seasonal and your favorite store already sold out or didn’t order any. What PSI should I set my kegerator to?
It depends on your temperatures and beer styles! http://www.kegerators.com/carbonation-table.php is a good table to check in to see where you should be and dial it a few PSIs in either direction to fine tune it to your perfect pour. Another variable is the length of your draft line- you might find yourself dialing up several PSI from that stated in this chart in order to achieve that perfect one to two-finger head.
How much beer should I order for my party? What kind should I get?
Your friends aren’t in college anymore (unless they are), so don’t plan on full kegs for your 40th Bday! But for the sake of time… yes, 1 beer per person per hour, taking into consideration other alcohol available would be the (responsible) route to take.

Do you offer brewery tours?
We certainly do! We offer free tours at both of our locations every day. Find hours and info here.
Do you offer private tours?
While we’d love to take people around the brewery and show off our digs all day, it’s not so efficient for our brewing and packaging staff. We unfortunately do not have the space or the staffing to accommodate any more tours above and beyond the public tours that we offer daily.

Do I need to make a reservation?
All tours are first come first served, no reservations needed, and none taken either!
What happens on a tour?
Tours generally last about 20 minutes and give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we do what we do. More info on tours and locations here.
Do you have to be 21+ to go on a brewery tour?
You do not have to be 21 to go on a brewery tour, but for safety reasons children under 12 are not allowed. Check here for more tour info and safety guidelines.

Where can I buy sweet Great Divide gear?
We have merch available at both of our locations and online at our Hop Shop. We are always changing up our selection, so you can find anything from bike lights to Hydroflasks, Yeti LEDs, 5-panel hats, and even thermals
Do you sell gift cards?
You can buy gift cards in our Tap Room or Barrel Bar or online at our Hop Shop. We currently only offer a physical gift card option, but we understand that digital gift cards are great and we hope to be able to offer that in the future. For now, if you order a gift card online it will come as a physical card in the mail.

We sure can! Check out the About page on our website to learn more about where we started, why supporting our community is so important to us, and how we support nonprofit organizations in the state.
I would like my non-profit to be considered for your Tap Room giving program, how do I apply/qualify?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of your organization and why you think your cause would align well with our program. We receive hundreds of requests to be a part of this program and we generally set this calendar a year in advance. If we are able to include you in the program, we will reach back out to you.

Can I host my private event with Great Divide?
Sure! We have three options:
Mezzanine area for up to 125 people
Production area for up to 250 people

What is the difference between your two locations?
Established in 1994, our original brewery and Tap Room are located in the heart of downtown Denver. With 16 taps of seasonal and year-round brews, you can enjoy award-winning, hand-crafted beer straight from the source. Take a tour of the brewhouse, chat with our friendly staff at the bar, or enjoy the Denver sunshine on the patio. Tours and food trucks daily. Beer to-go. Pet-friendly patio.
Our new Barrel Bar is in Denver’s River North neighborhood, only a mile down the road from our original brewery. With beautiful views of the mountain and city skyline, our second location is home to a new state-of-the-art packaging facility, canning line, barrel aged and sour beer storage, and intimate new taproom. The Barrel Bar features our full line-up of Great Divide beers, including many seasonal, Barrel Aged, and limited release offerings. Daily tours take you behind-the-scenes of our new facility and outline the plans for the new brewery, beer garden, restaurant, and Tap Room that will fill up the rest of our new 5 acre space in the next few years. Don’t worry, our original brewery and Tap Room on Arapahoe Street are not going anywhere!

I want to go on a tour, what do I need to know?
Can I bring my kids/pets/Great Aunt Myrtle?
While we gladly welcome your entire family, we do require children under 21 to be supervised at all times. For tours we don’t allow any children under 12. This is for your child’s safety- it’s loud and dangerous back there! Pets are welcome on our patios.
Do you have wine/spirits/food/gluten-free/kosher items on your menu?
Short answer? No. Long answer? We are a brewery, and in Colorado our brewery licensing only allows us to serve our own beer. We are not a licensed brewpub and therefore do not have a kitchen and cannot serve wine or spirits. We do our best to make the best beer we possibly can, and we haven’t found a gluten-free option that meets our standards for what we want our beer to taste like.
Do you have an outdoor area?
Both locations offer patio seating, weather permitting.
Do you have televisions or live music?
We believe in good old-fashioned human interaction, and therefore proudly do not have televisions in our tap rooms. We would love to offer live music, but unfortunately we do not have the space for it.
Do you serve food?
We do not have a kitchen, but we do have food trucks scheduled daily. We also have chips and nuts for purchase.
Do you have food trucks?
We have food trucks every day, and they usually arrive around 3-4pm. The trucks vary, and almost all of them offer vegetarian options.
Which food truck is there tonight?
We have food trucks daily, and they usually arrive around 3-4pm. We are always rotating from the fantastic variety of food trucks available in this town, but if you really want to plan your night around your meal, then rest assured that there are plenty of great restaurant options within walking distance of both of our Tap Rooms if the food truck doesn’t fit your cravings.
Can I bring in outside food?
That’s totally fine with us, we just ask that you please be respectful of those around you, and please clean up your trash when you’re done.

I want to work for Great Divide but don’t see a job posted in my specialty, can I apply anyways?
This is a free country and you can do whatever you like, but due to the high volume of emails we receive here, your best bet would be to check back regularly for new job postings. As soon as as a job is available, we post it on our website. As soon as we are no longer taking applications for it, we remove it.
