Bleu D’Auvergne and Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout
Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is back in two weeks and is Yeti Imperial Stout’s sophisticated sibling. They may be from the same clan, but they have entirely different personalities. Oak aging gives a subtle vanilla character, rounding out Yeti’s intense roastiness and huge hoppy nature. Who says you can’t tame a Yeti? 9.5% ABV
Bleu d’Auvergne is a name-protected cheese from the Auvergne region in south-central France, where it has been made since the middle of the 19th century. Bleu d’Auvergne is made in the traditional manner from cow’s milk and features blue veining throughout. Its moist, sticky rind conceals a soft cheese possessing a grassy, spicy, pungent taste. The oak aging of this Yeti gives a subtle vanilla character, rounding out Yeti’s intense roastiness and huge hoppy nature making it a lovely partner to the Bleu D’Auvergne.
Start your GABF week right with this stellar pairing.
