Bottle Makes Three: Denver Passport Returns With 60+ Summer Sipping Specials
“Warm weather is here, which in Denver really means just one thing: patio season! When the days are sunny and warm, we like drinks that are refreshing and cold. If the summer weather puts you in the sipping mood too, we have just the thing for you – the Passport Program Summer Edition. We attended the Denver Passport launch party recently and were given a copy of this year’s Denver Passport Summer Edition. It was an awesome surprise since we’ve been big fans of the Denver Passport since the beginning. What’s not to love about buy-one-get-one deals on delicious drinks, all summer long? In the past 2 weeks, we’ve taken the latest Denver Passport out for a spin several times. It’s quickly become one of our favorite summer accessories, right up there with sunscreen and sunglasses. We don’t leave home without it!
About the Passport Program: Summer Edition
The Two Parts Passport Program is back for summer with 9 regional editions, including 5 in Colorado: Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and the Rocky Mountains. The Denver Passport we received features deals on 66 Denver-area bars, breweries and restaurants. With 2-for-1 cocktail special at these great establishments, beer and cocktail drinkers alike will love the Denver Passport
How it Works
Simply buy your Passport, and you’re ready to hit the town! Show your Passport to your server or bartender (along with an ID, if required) and ask for the Passport deal. You can only use your Passport once at each spot, and they will stamp your booklet when you redeem the offer. If you’re alone and don’t need 2 drinks, you can enjoy a single beverage 1/2 off instead. The deals offered in the Passport Summer Edition are valid from May 25 to September 3. We always try to fill our books up with stamps by the end of summer, but with this many offers, it’s a tough task to carry out. Fortunately, you only need to redeem a few offers before your Passport pays for itself.
The Denver Passport Summer Edition launch party was at Great Divide Brewing Company, where we also got to try the new Heyday Modern IPA. The beer was awesome. It’s the perfect beer cooler IPA for backyard parties this summer. We had a few cans at the Denver Passport launch and returned a few days later to the Great Divide taproom to enjoy it again, using our Passport for 2-for-1 drafts. You know, for research, obviously. We’re happy to say the Denver Passport worked just fine and the Heyday Modern IPA draft was still delicious!
This year we were excited to see the Denver Passport includes a few 2-for-1 pizza slices at Marquis and Sexy Pizza. Everybody loves pizza, but nobody loves it more than we do. There are a few other special offers tucked inside the Denver Passport, too. We appreciate the Lyft discounts they added for those days when you get a couple of stamps too many in your Passport. Do You Need a Passport?
If you like adult beverages and enjoy visiting new places, you need this. The Passport Program is great for locals and visitors who want to explore different watering holes this summer. Consider the booklet your field guide to summer adventure, with plenty of tasty bevvies along the way. We’ve already used our Denver Passport at some of our favorite places, but we’re most looking forward to discovering new (or new to us) restaurants and bars.

How the Passport Program Gives Back
The Passport Program Summer Edition is a proud supporter of the Colorado Restaurant Association’s Angel Relief Fund. A portion of Passport sales in Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and the Mountains support the Angel Relief Fund’s mission of helping hospitality professionals recover from the unexpected by offering emergency assistance grants to those facing unanticipated hardships. It’s a great way to help out all those who work in the hospitality industry.
Pick Up Your Own Passport
The Passport Program Summer Edition is available for the following 9 cities/regions: Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, the Rocky Mountain Region, Kansas City, Washington D.C., Minneapolis, and St. Louis. The Denver Passport is $25, but other prices may vary based on location and the number of offers available.

Disclosure
As mentioned above, we did receive a free copy of our 2018 Denver Passport Summer Edition. However, we were not compensated or required to write this post. Furthermore, the freebie, while awesome, did not influence our opinion of the Denver Passport. We were already big fans based on our earlier experience as paying customers.
Here are some throwback photos from our previous years with the Denver Passport. Good times!”
