How long have you worked at Great Divide?
Almost 2 years.
What is your favorite GD beer?
That’s mean….. 😉 I’ll go with Hades. I’m a big fan of Belgian style beers and it was great for the price. I personally think it should be brought back.
What is your favorite GD Icon and why?
Hades- I mean look at that silhouette! I’ve always dreamed of walking a 3-headed dog.
What’s your position at GD?
South and East Denver sales rep. I also cover Castle Rock, Evergreen and Conifer.
How did you start working for GD?
I worked in the industry for some years, I read that there was an opening in sales and went for it.
What’s your favorite part about working at GD?
All the interesting people you meet along the journey. We have a pretty kick ass team on every level. Who doesn’t want to work for an amazing brewery?
What could we find you sipping on a Saturday night (besides GD beer obviously)?
Whiskey and anything I haven’t tried before.
When you’re not selling all the GD beer, what are you doing?
Playing in traffic. Kidding! Art, skating, brewing, cooking, chillin’ with my lady, hanging with the neighbors and partaking in bottle shares.
How many beers do you have in your cellar at one time?
A couple, of shelves. Let’s just say that for each one I drink 2 more take its place. It’s a never-ending cycle.
What’s the secret to the perfect green chile?
NM Hatch green chile roasted on site. The recipe has been passed down through many generations. If I gave up that info it would be like giving away part of my soul.
We heard you used to be a sk8ter boi, is that true?
Used to? Still do! Been riding for 20+ years, longboard and regular. Some street but I prefer park and empty pools. I have scars and proudly own some metal due to skating. I will never stop as long as my body allows it.
We also heard that you have a little knack for graffiti art?
Hmmm I don’t know what you’re talking about…. Perhaps I shook a spray can or two. I focus on canvas but I’ve played with all sorts of mediums. Legal mediums.
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
I am Groot!! Hahaha, had to.
If I could pick only one, I’d go with teleportation. Look at all the pros:
- Driving would be a thing of the past.
- If I wanted Chinese I’d go to China.
- Sleeping in just got better.
- Skating would be interesting.
- Travel and see the world whenever I choose.
- Infinite possibilities. (Insert nerd jokes here)
Where’s your favorite place to eat/drink in Denver?
I like to frequent accounts that support Great Divide. If they have good queso and tacos all the better. Support local!
