Full-Time Beertender – GREAT DIVIDE BREWING COMPANY, DENVER, CO

Summary: Full Time Beertenders

Pay Rate: $12.85/hr + tips

Great Divide is looking for beertenders to join the Great Divide Brewing Co. team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about craft beer and Great Divide and understand that guest experience and excellent customer service are of the highest importance. Must be able to handle a high-volume, fast-paced work environment, and have great social skills and ability to multi-task. Other qualifications include politeness, strong work ethic, punctuality, attentiveness, and desire to work as a team player. This role directly interacts with customers to provide an amazing experience while at the Arapahoe Taproom and/or Barrel Bar.

This position will be based out of Denver, Colorado.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Previous experience in craft beer or service industry.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have open availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work long shifts and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work well independently and with a team.
• Must have great communication skills and get along well with others.
• Must be willing to learn.
• Must handle and resolve customer complaints
• Must be able to attend monthly staff meetings
• Must be able to clean draft lines bi-weekly and willingness to learn draft line cleaning
• Deliver Brewery tours to guests

Education, Experience and Certification/License Requirements:

• High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general customer service principles and practices.
• Safe Alcohol Service Training and Certified Beer Server or Cicerone Server certification is a plus.
• General product knowledge of craft beer and specific knowledge of Great Divide beer.

Preferred Skills / Key Competencies:

• Must be able to lift and carry 65 lbs. and move 175 lbs.
